Size: The pattern describes a size M (Bust circumference of 85 cm)

SIZE-NOTE: If you want a different size, you cast on 6 fewer/additional stitches on the front piece as well as 6 less/additional stitches on the back piece.

For example:

• 6 additional sts on both the front and back piece give 6,5 extra centimeters. (Bust circumference of 91,5 cm)
• 12 additional sts on both the front and back piece give 13 extra centimeters (Bust circumference of 98 cm).
• 6 fewer sts on both the front and back piece give Minus 6,5 centimeters (Bust circumference of 78,5 cm).

Width: 92 cm, measured from under the arms. There is a positive ease of 7 cm.

Length: 48 cm, measured from the neck.

Gauge: 18 stitches x 19 rows in stocking stitch on needle size 6 mm = 10 x 10 cm (after washing).

Recommended needles:Size 6 mm (40 and 60/80/100 cm) and size 4,5 mm (40 cm)

Yarn selection:

The Amabala top in the picture is knitted with 4 cotton threads (8/4 cotton) However, you only knit with 2 threads at a time, alternating between:

• 1 white and 1 red together, which is referred to as "red" in the pattern
• 2 white threads together, which is referred to as "white" in the pattern

Which yarn should you choose?

1. Reknit an old sweater or
2. Buy new yarn

1. Reknit: Consider reknitting: Give new life to old sweaters or leftover yarn from your drawers.
Experiment until you achieve a gauge of 18 stitches x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm

Amount: Your need 340 meters of each thread for a size M
(SIZE.NOTE: For each time you cast on +6 stitches on the front- and backpiece, you will need +50 meters of each thread. Similarly, you will need -50 meters if you cast on 6 fewer stitches on each piece.)
