Yarn choice:
The Funda Sweater shown in the picture is knitted with 2 strands:
- One thin mohair strand
- One thicker blow yarn strand (17 sts)
Which yarn should you choose?
1) Reknit
2) Purchased yarn
1) Reknit
Consider using recycled or leftover yarn for your knitting.
Experiment until you achieve a gauge of 12 stitches = 10 cm
Amount: You will need (1100) 1200 (1350) meters of yarn (of each strand) for this pattern.
An additional mohair strand can be added to create texture – this is optional. You will need approximately (450) 500 (550) m.
2) Purchased yarn:
(6) 6 (7) balls of DROPS Kid-Silk + (8) 8 (9) balls of DROPS Air
Optional: (1) 2 (2) balls of Kid Mohair Handdyed by Hjertegarn. If you want the hand-dyed mohair to go through the entire sweater, you will need (1100) 1200 (1350) meters, i.e., 3 (3) 3 balls.
