Bust measurement: The cardigan measures: 76 (80) 86 (90) 93 (98) cm measured from under the arms, around the chest.

Size Guide: The knit should have a negative ease of 5 cm to ensure a snug fit. This means the knit's chest width should be 5 cm less than the chest circumference.

Length: 47 (50) 52 (54) 56 (58) or desired length.

Gauge: 12 stitches x 16 rows in stocking stitch = 10x10 cm (after washing).

Recommended needles: Needle size 8 mm. (40 and 60/80/100 cm)

Yarn choice: The Thear cardigan in the picture is knitted with one strand of Blow yarn. (17 m = 10 cm). (You can add a thin mohair thread)

Which yarn should you choose?

1. Reknit an old sweater or
2. Yarn from DROPS or
3. More expensive quality yarn

1) Reknit: Give new life to old sweaters or leftover yarn from your drawers.
Experiment until your gauge swatch fits 12 masker = 10 cm 
Quantity: Use 750 (800) 800 (650) 900 (900) meters of yarn for this pattern. 

2) Yarn from DROPS: 6 (6) 6 (7) 7 (7) balls of DROPS Air. (Weight / length: 50 g = approx. 150 meters) with 5 (5) 5 (6) 6 (6) balls of DROPS Kid-Silk (Weight / length: 25 g. = approx. 210 meters)
Optionally: 2 balls of Tweed it yourself from Hjertegarn.

3) Quality yarn: 6 (6) 6 (7) 7 (7) balls of Sandnes yarn, Kos (Weight / length: 50 g. = approx. 150 meters) with 5 (5) 5 (6) 6 (6) balls of Sandnes Tynn Silk Mohair (Weight / length: 25 g = approx. 212 meters)
Optionally: 2 balls of Tweed it yourself from Hjertegarn.
